Testimonies is the essential activity in NI UWACU FOUNDATION, because it helps us to know each other which helps to pray for one another. Parents of the children who have disabilities use to be told bad words to discourage them and it is the same to these children. Testimonies are needed in order to encourage each other where a parent shares how it is to have a child who has disabilities, how neighbors and family members treat them. Children also have a time to share their testimonies too, telling how life goes on to them, how classmates treat them, etc.
after testimonies, we take a time to pray for one another showing God all those difficulties we face as parents who have these children, children’s wishes and asking God to give us strengths and wisdom to take care of these children in order to help them to live a worthy life. The reason why we allow people to share testimonies is because even when we are not together as a group it helps us to know how to pray for one another, and it also helps us to know how to treat each other, and avoiding the loneliness because once a person has a problem without someone who is ready to listen to him/her, He/she may think that he is the only one who has problems which leads him/her to be in loneliness situation.
