Ni Uwacu Foundation explains that the way they implement their activities is based on five pillars which are considered as the Organization’s foundation.

1. Spirit

This organization will focus on spiritual life of its members than anything else. It means that this organization must create many ways which will help people to hear the word of God such as starting schools where people come and study the word of God/Bible, reaching people one by one and discipling him/her.

2. Health

Health is everything in this world. It means that nothing can be done when there is no life. That’s we prioritize all activities related to the well being of our beneficiaries. We do our best to help our members to get medicines when they are sick and getting other health related needs in order to help them having good lives. They are taught how to take care of their bodies and clothes in order to let them be responsible of their lives.  This means that the organization do their best to teach them and give them basic things that they need.

3. Wealth

This organization must have its own properties which will help it to reach on its objectives. It needs to build its own infrastructures which bring money including agricultural activities and trade activities.

Everyone in the organization must get the opportunity to be taken care of and be supported so that he/she may be economically satisfied, it means that it is organization’s duty to support and having a contribution in someone’s development. On this subject is where the organization must do its best to help its members to be employed, selling their products and putting them in groups so that they may work as teams concerning their disabilities.

The organization has the duty to do the follow up of all its members seeing how much they are progressing and counsel them where it is necessary.

4. Relationship with other (Social life)

One of main reasons to found this organization is to see all people who have disabilities living a good life which is full of joy and fellowship among them. It means that the organization has a duty to do its best to build a good relationship based on fellowship among these people; the foundation has to contribute and support different activities which will gather these people such as players, visiting each other, …

Because of how many people who have disabilities are seen as people who have no value in their families, the organization will set principles which will help those people to perform and demonstrate how powerful and how valuable they are in Rwandan society. On this issue; people who have disabilities will get educated and counselled by showing them how strong they are, and making talks to other people who do not have disabilities in order to show them how people who have disabilities can do hard things too like them if they get the same chance with theirs.

5. Education

Every member from this organization will get the chance to be educated to the good level he/she wants to stop to. In organization’s budget, we would include the amount of money which will be used to pay for these people schoolings.

According to people wishes and according to people kind of disabilities; they will be put in hand practical schools so that they may be educated too.

People who were studied sciences and other courses will be given all they want to start working their works concerning what they studied but those who studied sciences will be given tools to do researches and discovering things which has benefits to the society they live in.
