As a mankind you always ask why you were created; sometimes you may think that you don’t have the exact answer. The Bible shows us that we were created by the Mighty God for his glory. You were not created to do whatever you want or to live as you wish. We all were created to glorify our God through living the holy life and doing good works for his glory.

Let us use the Ephesians 2:1-10 and John 3:16. Through this passage we see that God loved people and sent his Son Jesus to die for him/mankind to let him have the eternal life. Man was created in Genesis without sin and was put in Eden to live there (Genesis 2:7-8). The man was allowed to eat on every kind of fruit which was in Eden except one tree of knowledge of good and evil. He made a promise with God that once he eats on that forbidden tree; he will die. God was not lying because he knew that once Adam eats on that tree will automatically spiritually. After Adam ate on that tree, he died spiritually and missed the connection with God. That’s why he started hearing God coming to see them as usual and go to hide. Form that day Adam and all people who came from him lost the ability to be in relationship with God which shows how they don’t have the spiritual life.

The book of Ephesians 2:1-10, shows that people can get the spiritual life again because of Jesus. All people were included among those who are supposed to be perished. But through God’s grace; those who knew the coming of Jesus the Son of God and trust in him got an other chance to have the eternal/Spiritual life. There is no people’s activity needed to get saved except believing in Jesus Christ who was sent to let us have the eternal life because this passage shows us that we were not saved by what we do but the gift of God, it was done in this way in order not to let people boast.

We were created for good works in Christ Jesus. God created us to do good works but sometimes we can think that good works make us right. But it is not true good works do not cleanse us or give us the eternal life because it is what we are supposed to do. We can’t say that good works have no meaning because they will be counted once we reach to heaven. Everyone will be rewarded according to what he/she did while he/she was on the Earth.

So let know about Jesus mission on the Earth and believe in him in order to get saved. And do good works in order to get good rewards in Heaven because our deeds will be counted.
